Associates Rehabilitation, Inc. has a comprehensive program to relief pain from neck or back with noninvasive procedures. Our program consists of three phases:
Phase I: Decompression Therapy and Pain Management Modalities
Phase II: Stabilization of Structures
Phase III: Support of Muscular System
Phase I:
During Phase I of our comprehensive program, the patient will receive therapeutic modalities such as Electrical Stimulation, Ultrasound, Phonophoresis, soft tissue massage and Myofascial Release technique followed by Spinal Decompression Therapy.
The decompression therapy consists of a computer controlled traction device that is programmed to deliver a gentle stretch force to the spinal vertebra.
The total treatment time is usually less than 18 minutes and is pain free. Most patients report simply feeling s subtle gentle stretching of their spine and even fall to sleep during the treatment.
Most patients report dramatic reduction of their pain within as few as five treatments. That however, does not mean the healing process is complete, we encourage all patients to continue with their complete program to achieve maximum benefits and prevent reoccurrence of pain.
Phase II:
During Phase II of your treatment, our office will prescribe a series of rehabilitative measures including rehabilitative exercises, postural retraining, compensatory and adaptive techniques to follow during home or work activities.
Phase III:
During Phase III, we will structure a home exercise program that will help to bring the spine back to full health. Regular and consistent home-based exercise is one of the keys to long-term relief. We have found through experience the simple home-based exercises we prescribe are most effective.
